Currently seeking a GROUNDWORKS ESTIMATOR (ANY LEVEL) to join my client, a well-established family run business in East Sussex, operating in the new build residential sector. The successful Estimator will join one other existing Estimator and between them look to drive the business forward, working with both the internal construction teams, as well as seeking external clients when the business grows.
The company are very open minded about the background and level of experience of applicants. You must have a reasonable knowledge of groundworks and has some experience in pricing works and measuring from drawings.
Roles and responsibilities: * Initial appraisal of opportunities and provision of project overview documents * Preparation and delivery of estimates * Assessment and allocation of plant/machinery * Developing key supplier relationships * Attending strategy meetings with project teams * Attending site as required * Completion of tender documentation and submission of the tender ensure a smooth handover of the project to the site team knowledge
