Are you a Buyer/Purchaser with experience of procuring mechanical parts/components or materials? Do you have strong negotiation and communication skills?

Established over 60 years ago this company provide specialist solutions for various process industries. With plans to continue growing the business this newly created role will play a crucial part in helping the company achieve its goals.

In this role you will be sourcing raw materials for pumps and other items such as mechanical parts whilst keeping costs competitive. It is essential that information is accurate and strict deadlines are kept due to the bespoke nature of the solutions that they offer.

The ideal person will have experience in the procurement of mechanical parts/systems specifically related to pumps. You will have a purchasing qualification and will be familiar with purchasing software.

The Role:

*Buyer role
*Sourcing parts and raw materials for mechanical pumps
*Negotiating costs and timescales from suppliers
*Working to tight deadlines and specific details
*Managing inventory, cashflow and the quality of
*£32'000 - £35'000 + Training + Pension + Healthcare + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

The Person:

*Experience of procuring mechanical parts, components etc.
*Strong negotiation and communication skills
*The ability to work under pressure and meet time frames
*High attention to detail
