Duties will include:- Posting Schedules on the Finance Software Package (training will be given), updating company spreadsheets, assisting credit controllers and client executives, running credit safe reports, apply for Bad Debt Protection limits, setting up new clients on the finance software package, data entry, answering incoming calls, scanning, filing and generally assisting in the day to day running of the office.

To have a successful career in administration, you will benefit from gaining recognised qualifications alongside learning the necessary skills in your work environment.

The Apprenticeship consists of several separate qualifications. You will be required to work towards achieving these through a combination of college workshops and work based activities.

For the Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration (which is a combined knowledge and competency qualification), you will be expected to cover a range of units for which you will need to provide work-based evidence

12-18 months

Skills Required:

We are looking for a bright individual who is well presented and has a friendly approach. You must be computer literate and have experience using Word and Excel.

Qualifications Required:

You must be educated to GCSE level in Maths and English Grade C and above.

Personal Qualities:

You must be friendly, polite and enjoy being part of a team.

Future Prospects:

Our Gatwick Office is growing very quickly and there will be opportunities to go further after the apprenticeship. The apprentice will be employed full time at the point of recruitment.

The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.90 per hour effective from 1st April 2019. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
