The successful candidate will become an integral member of our existing team to ensure accurate and timely credit decision and turnaround times while working to the specific policies and procedures. As our ideal candidate you will enjoy building long term relationships and providing solutions to your customers through delivering exceptional service. You are resilient and self-motivated with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment that will utilise your strong problem solving and negotiation skills. You will be required to source and recommend mortgage products to clients and brokers on both an advised and packaged basis.

A robust knowledge of the financial services industry and the mortgage market will be hugely beneficial for this role.

·Financial services experience

·High levels of numeracy and literacy skills

• Strong mandate holder / previous management experience
• Experience of manual underwriting
• Previous experience of working as a mortgage underwriter, residential or commercial
• Strong market knowledge
• The ability to work well as part of a small team

• Salary: £22,000-£25,000 basic
• Bonus: Generous bonus structure scheme
• Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
• Location: Hove, East Sussex
