£22,000 - £26,000

Monday to Friday 8 – 5 (Flexible hours, 40 hours a week)

Crawley Based, static site

A full-time permanent opportunity for a technical, building fabric maintenance engineer with some administration experience has become available, to be based at one site in Crawley. This role is supporting a client on behalf of one of the UK’s largest facilities management companies, it’s a great role in which you can apply your skills, but also develop your career, as the company goes from strength to strength. You’ll be trusted to manage the maintenance on site, carry out minor maintenance work, and file away paperwork in a compliant manner.

The Role:

You are a key part of every customer’s journey and experience whilst in the building demonstrating exceptional customer service. You will establish great relationships with our Customers and work closely with the onsite team on site to deliver a constant approach across the business.

Main Duties:

* Facilitate the delivery of all workplace related services within your area whilst ensuring customer requirements are met and their needs are anticipated at all times.

* Pro-active approach to inspecting the site on a daily basis, completing first fixes and raising jobs for any further work ensuring that all tasks are completed within SLA and Health and Safety guidelines.

* A flexible approach to facilities services management in accordance with the Company and Client requirements that may prevail from time to time

* Install posters, signage and boards throughout the site as requested by Internal Comms

* Distribute internal mail received from the couriers to the correct departments and pigeonholes. Receive & distribute deliveries.

* Prepare internal mail for distribution via courier

* Ensure all jobs completed and you are completing job sheets accurately and closing jobs within SLA’s

* Complete weekly Fire Alarm checks where requested.

* Carry out inspections and audits ensuring that all quality, Health & Safety, COSHH and environmental standards and requirements are met

Required:

* Building fabric maintenance, experience/ qualification

* Team player with an enthusiastic attitude with a pro-active approach

* Knowledge of Health and Safety issues pertaining the workplace- IOSH would be advantageous but not essential
