I hope you are well. I am currently working with a long-standing client of mine based within the East Sussex Area, they are looking for a new Project Manager as a currently employee is retiring. This is a permanent position with a negotiable salary banding of GBP 40,000.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the project meets the agreed project milestones and is delivered on time
• First point of contact for the Client from PO placement to project completion
• Overall responsibility for the Documentation status/approval of the project
• Ensure project risks and issues are identified
• Manage customer driven and internal project changes
• Report on a weekly basis the status of each project to the Management team

Project Manager Ideal Skills/Experience:

• Degree level (Engineering Desired) or minimum of 5 years in similar role
• Prince 2 or similar project management qualification desirable
• Strong leadership
• Contractual knowledge, payment terms, liquidated damages, shipping releases etc
• Highly organised and able to manage own workload
• Decision maker
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of dealing with high pressure situations
• Quality beliefs with a continuous improvement outlook
