This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rotational post based around the West area of West Sussex.

The rotation includes Community Neurological Rehabilitation, Community Responsive Services in Worthing and Chichester, Community Inpatient Rehabilitation and Muscular Skeletal outpatient clinics.

The community based teams will involve working as part of a multi-disciplinary team assessing and treating people in their homes and other community settings.

The Neurological Team is a specialised service that supports a neurological caseload with acute rehabilitation interventions.

The Responsive Service Teams support patients with short term packages of rehab and care for patients with a wide range of conditions. They also have a role in preventing hospital admission.

The Community Inpatient role involves working as part of an MDT to deliver rehabilitation programmes in community hospitals.

The Muscular Skeletal outpatient clinics are based in Bognor Regis and Chichester and provide treatment and advice to adults residing in these areas.

You will work under the direction of other physiotherapists within the teams and may be responsible for delegating work to rehabilitation technicians. You will work alongside other therapists and nursing staff in planning a multi-disciplinary approach to care.

Sussex Community Foundation NHS Trust offers a comprehensive package of staff support including a Preceptorship programme for newly qualified staff, regular supervision and annual appraisal. Participation in regular Continuous Professional Development is encouraged and supported.

The post is for 37.5 hrs per week.
