Job Setting
A well established client of mine is requiring a dedicated Deputy Manager to work within one of their beautiful nursing homes in Eastbourne, Kent. You will be working with elderly residents requiring short term or long term nursing care, including dementia. As the Deputy Home Manager, you have responsibility for assisting in the day to day management of the Home and care team. Click Apply...] the role of Deputy Manager we would expect you to have a "hands on approach" to working with the Nursing & Care Assistant teams ensuring we apply the highest standards of modern and professional practice, ensuring all the needs of the residents are individually catered for, with particular emphasis for emotional, spiritual, nursing and physical requirements.The role will entail working some weekends, undertaking night visits and adapting your rota to suit the needs of the business to support staff within the home.If you have the right skills and experience, have drive, commitment and are seeking a new exciting challenge then why not become part of our team.

Clinical Lead Skills and responsibilities
  • Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
  • Wound management
  • Experience is a care environment and in a senior nursing role or above
  • Putting together treatment plans
  • Setting an example in delivering excellent care
  • Overseeing a team of nurses and care assistants
  • Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team
  • Administering oxygen
  • Putting together treatment plans

  • ensure the safe delivery of nursing care, maximising nursing and other resources
  • Assist with pre-admission assessments and arrangements necessary for admissions to the home

Clinical Lead Requirements
  • Hold a relevant nursing qualification
  • Be registered with the NMC
  • Have previous experience within nursing homes
  • Held a senior position previously is deserable but not essential
  • Have satisfactory references
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Excellent communication both written and oral
  • Organised with attention to detail
