Senior Application Support Analyst needed to join this large professional services firm in their Crawley head office. Primarily responsible for supporting one of their core business applications with the aim of becoming the overall administrator of the system.
 
The right person will have a proven track record and knowledge of SQL and have a technical mind set as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with staff throughout the company. Ensure high priority issues are resolved as well as coordinating with application vendors. The responsibilities are broad and include:

• Complex troubleshooting of business-critical software and working closely in coordination with application vendors to resolve user and application issues.
• Working in small teams on a variety of report development projects, overseeing projects from beginning to end for both applications and databases.
• Responsible for producing essential formal documentation.
• Responsible for testing and deploying updates to the application.
• Approach to improving software to work more efficiently for the business.
• Ensuring backup integrity and supporting the departments disaster recovery strategy.
• Maintenance of the help desk. Ensuring high priority issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Mentoring junior colleagues.

Package

The salary on offer is around £40,000 - £45,000 with a full benefits package.
