Disability Analyst - PIP Assessor

We are currently recruiting for disability assessors for an exciting opportunity working on the DWP contract. The role requires you to use your clinical experience to conduct independent assessments to write reports on claimants on behalf of the DWP.

As part of the Government's welfare reform agenda, the Department for Work and Pensions have introduced a new benefit called the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) replacing the Disability Living Allowance.

PIP is designed to better reflect today's understanding of disability and is focused on helping with the extra costs disabled people face to lead independent lives.

Do you have clinical knowledge, clinical skills and decision-making abilities?

PIP assessment service offers a fresh challenge for Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics. This role is moving away from hands-on clinical care and does not involve treatment, however, it requires a clinical professional to assess the claimants to the highest standard.

The ideal candidate would meet these criteria;

• BSc (Hons) or equivalent
• 2 years post grad in a clinical setting

Salary: £32,000
