Working primarily in one of the Therapeutic Children’s Homes owned by The Lioncare Group in Brighton and Hove, East Sussex but you may from time-to-time be required to work at any resource operated by the organisation. Your primary task under the instruction, guidance, supervision and leadership of the Senior Management Team and Directors of The Lioncare Group is to: Effectively and appropriately care for the children and young people looked after and educated by The Lioncare Group, whilst gaining the necessary training, knowledge, skills and experiential learning necessary to be a Therapeutic Carer.

Working Hours:

  • Full time 40 hrs
  • Part time 24 hrs
  • Early shift: 7.03am - 3.30pm
  • Late Shifts 2.30pm -10.30pm
  • Sleep-in is are required as agreed with manager

Salary Scale:

  • Childcare Worker £17,726 No prior experience (TC1 after probation) to £18,532 regular prior experience (TC3 after probation).
  • Therapeutic Carer £18,701 - Limited prior experience in the role (or was CW1) to £22,344 absolute increment limit (CoL only).
