Based in Brighton this rewarding role supports team members, students and academics and provides an exciting opportunity to join a lively and friendly department.

The Timetabling Team are responsible for a full range of complex administrative and support activities including developing, organising and maintaining accurate and timely personalised student and course timetables. The Team Manager’s role is responsible for managing a small team of professional and experienced Timetabling Officers while undertaking a small timetabling load and developing and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships across the university.

You will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to form confident professional relationships with colleagues at all levels. Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to competently use, manipulate and maintain complex databases and online systems; demonstrable work experience in administration within an educational environment including producing electronic student timetables or use of a complex database in such a setting is essential. The ability to manage or supervise is essential.

This is a fixed term post until the end of August 2020 and although the post holder will be based at one of the campuses, regular travel to other campuses may be required.
