Are you a highly organised, sales focused manager who would love to lead our team within St Barnabas’s busiest Hospice Charity Shop in Storrington. If so, we are looking for an independently minded, successful manager who is passionate about customer service to join our team of Managers supported by our Area Manager.

Responsibilities include: Delivering excellent customer service; managing a team of staff and volunteers; stock control; visual merchandising; liaison with the Distribution Centre for stock and furniture; using the EPOS system; daily cash handling and banking; ensuring the staff, volunteers, the shop and the site are safe and secure. 

Experience in retail, sales or a similar fast moving customer orientated environment is vital. A proven record of sales growth and strong budget management is essential.

Location: The post is based in Storrington but involves some travel to the hospices and Retail Distribution Centre.  The role may involve managing and supporting other shops in Sussex as required.

Hours: 37.5 hours (5 days out of 7, inc Bank Holidays)
