Systems Environmental Qualifications Engineer
Contract: 6 months
Location: Crawley
Payrate: £48 P/H

An aerospace and defence organisation are looking to add a Systems Engineer experienced in Environmental qualifications engineering, to its lean and diverse team in Crawley.
The Successful Systems Environmental Qualification Engineer will be responsible for
* Identify requirements baselines before commencement of design or change activity
* Equipment and system evaluation against requirements
* Work closely with the Solutions Architect to produce subsystem designs
* Produce qualification statements, and analyse them against requirements and build standards
* Relate with customers and external suppliers to ensure compliance with discussed process and progress.
* Compose test plans and strategy documents.

The successful Systems Environmental Qualification Engineer should possess the following skills / experience:

* Solid understanding of Environmental Qualification
* Proven ability of customer and supplier liaison
* Proven ability managing projects through defined process (CHORUS2)
* Can produce Metrics as Part of quality control
* Proven understanding of Engineering Safety management
* Proven ability of requirement tools (DOORs, CRADLE etc.)
* Proven understanding of environmental standards (RTCA DO160, MIL-STD 810 etc)

* IRSE Licence or equivalent

ADDITIONAL

WE SEEK A Systems Environmental Qualification Engineer WHO HAS IDEALLY WORKED IN A MILITARY / DEFENCE ENVIRONMENT / INDUSTRY WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS OR WHO IS CAPABLE OF OBTAINING SECURITY CLEARANCE (SC LEVEL MINIMUM)
