Lecturer in Horticulture & Landscape Construction

Pro rata of £20,878 - £36,650 (i.e. £8,351.20 - £14,660) per annum

                   

14.8 hours per week

We are looking for an outstanding lecturer with a Horticulture, machinery and landscaping background who is passionate about delivering outstanding teaching, learning and assessment in both theory and practical sessions, to a diverse group of students. 

You will expected to support and facilitate students to maximise their full potential and make positive progress towards their achievement, future study and career choice. You will hold a recognised Horticulture qualification to level 3 or above and preferably have experience in teaching within the Further Education sector. 

We have many training programmes available for prospective candidates including initial teacher training and we pride ourselves on taking the time to develop our staff through a range of CPD activities.

You will also have knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and will be responsible for teaching and assessing apprentices. You will have a sound knowledge of relevant industry legislation and codes of practice and have proven industry experience.
