Blatchington Mill School is seeking to recruit to this important role in our successful and oversubscribed school.  The First Aid Lead is a vital individual in the caring environment that we maintain at our school, they play an instrumental part in embedding a strong culture of health and safety.

You would ideally have some experience in a school or similar environment and be able to demonstrate a good understanding and robust practice in planning and performing first aid.

The First Aid Lead coordinates the provision across this busy and dynamic school organising training in order to meet the needs of our diverse student body.  You will have good communication skills and will be well organised with the ability to remain calm under pressure and to work with students, their families and colleagues from within the school and outside agencies.

This role is also responsible for reporting and monitoring accidents and incidents, organising vaccination programmes and working with teaching colleagues to encourage students to care for themselves and others.

Salary: Actual Salary Range £18,267 - £20,168

Hours: 37 hrs pw, term-time (work 39 weeks/paid 44 weeks)
