Package and benefits of the position:

The position is paying £17000- £19000 with 28 days annual holiday. Plus company car, mobile and laptop.The opportunity has lots of development opportunity, so we are looking with someone with a background in meter reading who would like to progress their career into a leak detection and water auditing.The salary will then increase after further training and skills have been achieved.

The position of Water Meter Reading Technician is to be based from home covering the areas of around the South East. The position will require travel to customers’ sites along with some overnight stay, which will probably be a couple if nights per month.

Overview of Water Meter Reading Technician:

The position’s focus will be to provide accurate and timely water meter readings across the range of clients in the area.Throughout further training and development, the role will develop in to on site assessments, including; water auditing and leak detection.

Candidate requirements for the position of Meter Reading Technician:

·Previous meter reading experience or experience in working within the water utilities sector in some technician capabity.

·Driving licence

·Happy to travel and with occasional overnight stays

·Good IT skills to complete reporting and input water audit information to company system Waterline

·Highly organised

·Professional

·An ability to be able to work independently with self motivation and self management
