Project Manager required. My client are an established manufacturer supplying machined components to a range of markets across to UK including the defence and automotive sectors, running a number of bespoke projects at any one time. Due to continued success, they are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager, skilled in the coordination of various internal departments to ensure all deadlines are met in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant field of engineering study, and will ideally have previous Project Management/Coordination experience from within a manufacturing environment. You will be deadline driven and keen to work as part of a cross-functional team, striving to ensure all project deadlines are met.

Project Manager - Precision Position Overview

• Coordinate all incoming customer orders, ensuring they are communicated and expedited through the company quickly and efficiently
• Maintain regular communication with the customer, keeping them updated at all times
• Review incoming orders and coordinate with production and technical departments to ensure deadlines can be met
• Loading orders onto production system
• Monitor progress through the company to ensure timely delivery to the customer

Project Manager - Precision Position Requirements

• Degree qualified in a relevant field of study i.e. Mechanical / Production Engineering
• Previous experience managing projects in a manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills at all levels to colleagues, customers and management
• Self-motivated and driven to motivate others
• IT proficient, ideally knowledge in production systems
• Full UK driving licence
• Based within a commutable distance of Littlehampton

Project Manager - Precision Position Remuneration

• £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
• 22 days' holiday + bank holidays
