This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manual Turner to join an established Engineering firm based in Hailsham.

The Job

Salary: £24,300 plus overtime paid at 1.5

Hours: My client operates a 39 hour week with flexi hours.

This operates from Monday to Friday with a 12.00 finish on Friday.

Benefits: 5% into a Nest Pension (3% staff contribution), Simple Health scheme and an Incentive bonus scheme.

Annual Leave: 28 days per year including Bank Holidays.

Core Activities, Duties and Key Tasks

My client is looking for a Centre Lathe Turner who can work with fibreglass and resins to produce shaker ac coils. You will work as part of a team of highly skilled Engineers to produce coils that are an integral part of Test and Measuring Equipment.

* To set up mandrels on the lathe face plate

* To cut and measure out the raw material used for the job

* To confirm when raw materials require ordering

* To turn the parts to the manufacturer’s drawings

* Adhering to Health and safety policy

Person Specification

* Manual lathe / milling experience is essential for this position
