40 hours, with some working flexibility

Up to £14 per hour

Hunters’ client is a small and incredibly friendly business requiring an experienced bookkeeping to cover maternity.In addition to general accounts responsibilities the Bookkeeper will also be involved with basic HR admin and accounts for a series of residential properties.

Duties include –

Loading purchase ledger invoices onto Sage 50c.

Processing Creditors list and making BACS Payments.

Allocating payments to Sage.

Petty Cash Control allocating to Sage.

Running monthly Customer Statements, sending copy Invoices and Credit Control letters, chasing up payments.

Daily bank reconciliation for Lloyds/PayPal allocating transactions to Sage.

Monitoring and responding to emails.

Banking.

Reporting payroll figures to external payroll company.

Preparing payroll journals.

Processing starters and leavers, issuing staff handbooks.

Maintaining personnel files.

Processing inter- company costs and property rents.

Vat Returns.

Reconciling GBP, USD and EUR accounts.

Year End accounts.

Pension Control.

Vat Returns.
