We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join a family-owned business based in a Hurstpierpoint, Sussex.
As a talented and dynamic Operations Manager, you will be responsible for imparting the company culture, generating trust in an organised and confident style and coordinating and motivating the operations team.
Key responsibilities and duties…
* Managing the warehouse and production processes
* Researching and recommending alternative methods of efficiency and cost saving
* Ensure customer delivery expectations are always achieved
* Organising the dispatch and delivery of goods
* Managing delivery partners
* Ensuring goods are stored safely and appropriately
* Ensuring facility is safe and secure
* Maintaining health and safety standards
* Keeping and analysing accurate records
* Planning and overseeing stock, distribution of goods and facility layout
* Ensuring department KPI’s are monitored and met, analysed and lived
* Working collaboratively with other department managers
* Communicating management strategy to the team
* Controlling of Operational Budget
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and qualifications...
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a successful Operations Management or similar role
* Management and leadership experience is essential
* Experience in B2B business environment
* Proficient with MS Office Suite and experience with ERP systems
* Ability to lead a “Get Stuff Done” team culture
* Excellent people manager, open to direction and collaborative work style
Hours: Mon-Friday 40 hours pw (flexible between 6am - 5pm
