Lighting Maintenance Engineer - Mobile

Up to £27,500 + Company Van + Fuel Card

Job Purpose:

To visit various sites scheduled by the Work flow Manager to carry out compliance visits, Emergency Light, PAT and fire alarm testing. Carrying out remedial works to NICEIC standards. Carrying out lighting maintenance and project works. Complete certification and where necessary to provide detailed quotation information which will aid the compilation of a written quote.

Principle Accountabilities:

• To visit sites from a given schedule, to carry out required works, liaising with the Help Desk, conversing with site managers and completing all certification and documentation.
• Submit all paperwork twice weekly fully completed and legible via electronic software using Toughbook or similar.
• To carry out compliance remedial works and new installs
• To provide thermo graphic Reports
• To carry out PAT, Fire, Emergency light testing, fire extinguisher servicing and carry out PEL inspections.
• Carry out lighting maintenance and lighting project works.
• To complete all certification to the required standards and communicate thoroughly information from site to the Help Desk to enable the generation of quotations.
• To effectively communicate all issues or concerns that they have back to the Help Desk/Team Leader.
• To always put the best interests of the company before individual engineers or personal interests.
• To ensure that they achieve all targets set to them by the company.

Qualifications:

• City & Guilds Testing & Inspection 2391 (Desirable)
• City & Guilds 2330 or 236 parts 1 and 2 electrical installations (or equivalent)
