GENERAL RESTAURANT MANAGER

£28-30,000 working day shifts only with alternate weekends off and company benefits

This is a great opportunity for an experienced restaurant manager with a high volume background to join an established independent company operating a number of sites to head up their in-house restaurant serving all fresh food menus situated near Arundel.

You will have either a high volume branded high street or independent restaurant background and will be used to managing, training, and leading BOH and FOH teams. You will also be hands-on, driven, motivated, and sales, service and standards focused.

You will have full operational and financial responsibility for managing every aspect of the restaurant, including driving sales and maintaining very high levels of service.

They are a lovely company and bunch of people to work with.

You will need your own transport.

A massive bonus is that you will work straight day shifts only with alternate weekends off.

ROLE - GENERAL RESTAURANT MANAGER

As the General Restaurant Manager you will:

  • Manage day to day operations in a hands-on capacity
  • Train, develop, motivate, and inspire your team to deliver consistent results
  • Support the kitchen
  • Control stock, labour, and budgets
  • Drive sales and maximise profitability
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Work to company targets and KPIs'
  • Maintain company systems & procedures

ATTRIBUTES - GENERAL RESTAURANT MANAGER

  • Experience as a restaurant manager in busy high volume restaurants - branded high street operations, independents, or commercial catering businesses serving the public
  • Excellent people, communication, and man-management skills
  • The ability to train and develop people and teams
  • A hands-on lead from the front approach with a keen eye for detail
  • An intrinsic understanding of legislation & compliance
  • Strong leadership skills and a motivational approach to managing people
  • A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
  • Sales building skills
  • Passion and drive to succeed
  • IT literate - working with systems & process
