Premier are currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a rapidly expanding organisation in East Sussex. The opening is working on the design and development of a range of high-tech scientific equipment.

In the role you will be using a range of materials including metals and plastics. You will also be working on the design of products and services with different aspects of the following fields: Pneumatics, Hydraulics, High Pressure, Water, Vacuum and Gas and Heat services.

Required skillset:

- A wide-ranging knowledge of engineering processes and industries

- Experience with Solid Works or Autodesk Inventor

- Sound understanding of Engineering principles, calculations and standards

- The ability to think and work proactively on cutting edge technology

- Experience working on and designing intricate, high tech products
