Job Duties

Job Summary:

The Client Implementation Team provides a dedicated client account implementation and change management service to LGIM’s Distribution team, ensuring that mandate events are implemented comprehensively in accordance with client funding objectives. As well as supporting investment driven client change events, the team also provide a supporting role in co-ordinating legal and operational change requirements necessitated by regulatory/industry developments (to the extent that they impact our clients).

Implementation Executive Principal Accountabilities:

Provide operational and administrative support within the Client Implementation Team supporting the management and processing of client documentation and fund amendments.

Manage and co-ordinate the data validation exercise – engage with the key stakeholders, assess what action are needed, produce structured plan and monitor & track progression; provide regular updates and where necessary, seek Compliance and Legal sign off.

Provide administrative assistance to the Client Implementation Team by supporting the team’s take-on and ‘client change’ responsibilities e.g. filing, scanning, maintaining spread sheet logs etc.

Assist in mapping, verification and system entry of client account data.

Process the receipt of signed client documentation in accordance with a strictly defined procedural framework by:

Process the receipt of updated Deeds, Signature Mandates and Bank Account forms by:

Provide regular and ad-hoc team support to the Senior Implementation Executives and Implementation Managers as required and as capacity permits.

  • monitoring items received into the team’s work queue and prioritising accordingly;
  • completing relevant operational and system updates;
  • applying business policies around execution of documentation;
  • circulating documentation as necessary within the business;
  • ensuring correct legal execution of the documentation before updating our internal systems;
  • providing guidance to clients, consultants and internal stakeholders on correct KYC and AML requirements for such changes;
  •  liaising with the dealing teams and working to strict deadlines to ensure that unnecessary delays occur with the placing of trades;
  • working with Legal and Compliance to ensure that our approach is consistent with our competitors, whilst maintaining the highest possible standards in terms of aversion to risk

Specialist knowledge/skills

Academic Qualifications

GSCE or A-Level qualified (minimum 5 GSCE’s grades A-C including English and Mathematics)

  • Experience of providing administrative and/or operational support to a team with a demonstrable ability to apply procedures and an awareness of operational risk.
  • Strong remediation experience.
  • Demonstrable track record of providing service support within a team and wider business context.
  • An understanding of the asset management/pensions industry
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to communicate with professionalism and grammatical accuracy.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Highly team-orientated.
  • Highly organised and diligent.
  • Proactive and proven to work on your own initiative.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Client focussed.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Highly risk aware with an ability to systematically apply procedures and challenge any improve any identified procedural weaknesses.
