CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator – East Sussex

Jobsworth Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking a CNC Miller who can Program, Set and Operate CNC Milling Machines / VMC. For this role you will need to be able to Programme Set and Operate CNC Milling Machines and ideally have experience with;

XYZ VMC – Siemens Controls

Hyundai Fixed Head – Single Spindle – Siemens Controls 828D

Doosan VMC – Siemens Control – 828D

YANG SMV1000

This is a very progressive Precision Engineering company that are highly experienced in producing one off to large batch runs of specialist components machined out of all different types of materials.

The role is based at our client’s site in East Sussex. Your working week will be;

Monday to Thursday – Double day Shift system – week1, 6am to 2.30pm / Week2, 1.30pm to 10pm

Friday – 8am to 4.30pm

All overtime paid at enhanced rate

Our client offers excellent benefits, including a salary of £12.50 to £15.00 per hour DOE.

The ideal candidate for the role CNC Turner Programmer Setter Operator;

• Be experienced working with CNC Milling Machines / VMC
• Be experienced at Programming, Setting and Operating 3 and 4 Axis CNC Milling Machines ideally using Siemens and Fanuc Controls
• Understand G Codes and conversational methods
• Be able to Manual Mill / Milling and ideally have Cutting Tool Experience
• Ideally be experienced and have knowledge of Edge CAM or CAD CAM
• Ideally be able to set tooling, set fixtures, create fixtures and plan out production methods
• Ideally have experience to inspect your own work to ensure it’s of the required quality and standards

Role Requirements for the CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator;

• To programme set and operate CNC Milling Machines / VMC
• To program using G Codes, conversational programming
• To ideally have experience working on XYZ VMC
• To ideally have experience working on Doosan VMC – Siemens Control 828D
• To ideally have experience working on YANG SMV1000
• Be able to read and fully understand Technical Drawings, Methods of Production and Tooling
