Clinical Support Administration Assistant

30 hours per week

£14,736 – 16,320 pa dependant on relevant experience (FTE £18,420 - £20,400)

Chestnut Tree House, near Arundel is the children's hospice for East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire. We provide specialist palliative care for children and young people with life-shortening conditions.

Do you want to join our In-House Team at Chestnut Tree House supporting the clinical team to provide holistic, individualised care and to support children / young people experiencing life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families? 

Duties will include assembling care plans and paperwork needed for admissions, ensuring all electronic files are managed and updated as required, assisting the care team/Clinical nurse manager with the booking of residential in house visits and providing administration support to the practice development team.

You will have:

• A good standard of general education to GCSE level including GCSE English Language
• At least five years’ administrative and secretarial experience
• Good minute taking skills
• Experience of report and proposal writing
• Good communication skills with professionals and families
