An established chartered accountancy firm are looking to welcome an experienced Accounts and Audit Senior to the team based in central Brighton, East Sussex.

The office is centrally located and a short walk from Preston Park station or easily accessible via the City's bus network. There are also storage facilities for your bike if you fancied a leisurely cycle to work with the firm also offer parking permit loans if driving was your option!

As an Accounts and Audit Senior, you will work with a diverse portfolio of clients consisting of differing sizes and within a range of various industries with the ability to work independently but as part a wider team.

About You:

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Demonstrable experience of working in a prominent accountancy firm in a Semi Senior, Senior or Manager capacity
• Sound technical knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105
• Comfortable with the audit cycle
• First class communication and presentation skills in this client facing role
• Experience using different accounting software such as Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, Kashflow. Good working knowledge of Excel and Word;
• Working knowledge of CCH desirable, but not essential
