Quality Manager

A leading manufacturer which supplies into a number of key industries including Aerospace is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Manager to join their team due to continued growth & expansion.

Experience/Skills/Knowledge required to be successful:

* Must have experience of AS9100 Rev D

* Experience of working in a AS9100D, ISO9001 & ISO14001 environment

In the role of Quality Manager you will be responsible for:

* Supervision and management of the Quality Technician / Engineer

* Implement and maintain AS9100D

* Comply with the requirements defined by the QMS in line with company objectives and requirements

* Implement improvements and develop effective production techniques to continually improve the processes and mitigate risks from poor design, build and test.

* Manage the introduction of new products into production, ensuring that opportunities to remove all manufacturing issues are identified and actioned before full time production commences and mitigate risks from design oversights.

* Prepare for and constructively contribute to customer meetings.

* Lead customer visits for FAIRs and follow up actions to completion.

* Non Conformance Reports (NCR)

* Review trend analysis and own/instigate preventative actions

* Liaise with suppliers over non-conforming products & design changes

* Manage the RTV systems to meet KPI targets

* Ensure QA procedures, processes, practices & controls are properly developed, implemented and maintained

* Ensure that all products represent the maximum quality & reliability attainable

* Routinely provide guidance and leadership to Engineers, Inspectors and/or Technicians for the duration of a project assignment

The role is commutable from: Littlehampton, Hove, Brighton, Chichester, Worthing
