Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. Working within our state of the art R&D manufacturing facility, the Graduate Design Engineer will work closely with team members to help support KPI projects, as well as work on front end innovation being actively involved in the development of medical devices by supporting projects from inception, through manufacturing feasibility to commercial launch. The successful Graduate will be seeking to gain experience within a regulated industry with a keen interest in the Medical Device sector having achieved a degree in either engineering or design.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Concept generation/concept product testing
*Support the new product development process
*Carryout risk analyses - FMEA
*Generate 3D CAD models and engineering drawings/produce 3D models and drawings to BS8888 (BS308)
*Verification and validation/supporting materials and process qualification
*Sourcing of materials, testing and running development trials
*Design for cost effective manufacturing
*Liaise with suppliers on quality and technical related issues
*Support creation and implementation of project plans
