Exam Invigilator (Bank)

£8.65/£8.70/£9.28 per hour (please refer to the terms and conditions page within the job description, for further details on the hourly rate).

Variable hours

This role requires you to invigilate both paper and online examinations.

You will maintain the internal examination processes necessary during examination periods, to ensure compliance with the Joint Council’s Instructions for the Conduct of Examinations. You will ensure procedures are adhered to for the correct management of students before, during and on completion of examinations in liaison with the Examinations Office.

You will be organised with a proactive attitude, who is able to both lead an examination as part of a team, or single-handedly where the need arises. You will also need to be PC literate and be able to understand and deliver different software applications for online examinations.

We are looking for individuals who are available throughout the year, with the potential to work several days a week (where demand requires), plus the occasional Saturday and evenings.

You will have proven interpersonal and communication skills as well as experience of working with young people. Ideally, you will also have experience of working in an examination environment.
