Job Description

We are looking for caring and enthusiastic Waking Night Support Workers who are passionate about supporting people with a learning disability, to enable the people we support to live as independently as possible in our service in Rustington, Littlehampton. We have a part time, permanent position available for 36 hours (approx 4 nights a week).

Our Supported Living service is home to seven people, five ladies and two gentleman with ages ranging from 32 to 78 who have profound and multiple learning disabilities, complex healthcare needs, mobility issues and non-verbal. We support with things like medication, personal care, meal preparation, shopping, budgeting and finances and domestic duties. A Waking Night Support Worker will be involved in any personal care support required, evening activities, medication, admin tasks including finances and light domestic duties. Shifts are 21.30 - 07.00.

Together you will be building new friendships, activities and opportunities within the local community, and beyond. You will be seeking out their hobbies, interests and passions and creating some fantastic memories along the way.

You do not need to be a driver for this role however you need to be sure you will be able to arrive to start your shift at 21.30 and able to get home when you finish at 07.00 if you are relying on public transport.
