Project Engineer to join a global company specialising in thermo-mechanical energy products.
The successful Project Engineer must be educated to degree level (HNC or above) in Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Physics or similar Sciences degree.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3yrs commercial experience
• Excellent written and spoken skills
• 2D and 3D CAD knowledge and understanding (e.g. AutoCAD, Solidworks)
• Understand how a commercial business functions from initial enquiry through to implementation
• Comfortable on the phone and face to face
The Project Engineer duties will encompass:
• Project Control
• Client liaison
• Supplier liaison
• Bid management
• Quality
• Production and reports
• Project Planning and scheduling
• Weekly and Monthly progress reports
• General Reports and documentation
This would suit a mechanical / civil engineer with understanding of CAD design work and who wants to progress their career as a Project Engineer. Working closely with onsite construction engineers and contractors. Also quality, bid and manufacturing teams both locally and remotely.
Experience with CAD (Solidworks or similar) and AutoCAD would be useful but not essential.
Any project engineering methodologies or training highly beneficial. Some travel to global locations is sometimes required so candidates with UK citizenship preferred. Destinations might include Canada, USA, Singapore, Malaysia, Russia.
