Senior Residential Support Worker

Salary: up to £28,500 including sleep-ins

The Company

Our client is an independent social care provider with an excellent reputation for providing high quality and tailored packages of care for young people in the 12 – 17 age range and they are currently recruiting for a Senior Residential Support Worker for their 4 bedded home mixed-sex EBD home in Worthing, West Sussex.

The Role

This is a leadership role, ensuring the care and welfare of each child and giving guidance and support to all Residential Workers. You will be responsible for staff supervision, leading shifts, ensuring placement plans are followed, policies, procedures, risk assessments and rotas are in place and education is supported.

The hours are to be worked on a shift basis to meet the needs of the business and require flexibility to include evenings and weekends on a rota basis including overnight duties.

Experience and Skills

Candidates must have previous extensive experience as a Residential Support Worker in an OFSTED registered children’s residential care home setting and have a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject such as Children and Young People’s Workforce / Residential Childcare / Children and Young People etc.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

Salary

The roles are paying up to £28,500 (inclusive of sleep-ins) depending on experience.
