Job Details

Full-Time - 37 hours per week

Fixed Term Contract until 31 July 2020 (Maternity Cover)

Based at the Central and East Campus, Brighton

We are seeking a careers advisor to support the development of the all age student careers and progression services for potential and existing students at City College.

You will have experience of delivering impartial careers advice services to a range of people and you will have a strong understanding of the barriers people face when accessing learning and work. You will have a recognised level 3 (or above) advice or career guidance qualification. A commitment to widening participation is essential, as well as confidence in liaising and building positive relationships with relevant external partners.

It is essential that you have a good knowledge of occupational, career, learning and other pathway opportunities both locally and nationally.

The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate a proven track record of working to and meeting agreed delivery targets and be expected to provide administrative support to the careers team.
