Our Client provides investment banking, management and advisory services. They are looking for a Financial Accountant with a broad understanding of accounting principles, ideally who is not presently studying. You will be reporting to the Financial Director.

Main duties and responsibilities

·Maintain accounting records and ensure accuracy and completeness of data and skills

·Prepare and review management accounts

·Have a clear understanding of reporting requirements, the structure of the existing reports and deliverables.

·Prepare timely and accurate year-end support files for annual audits as required.

·Prepare and review draft annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.

·Liaise with auditors and tax advisors to ensure delivery of timely completion of audit and tax engagements.

·Assistance with other ad hoc accounting duties, reports and data collection.

Candidate Profile

·Professional accountancy part/ qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)

·Two to four years’ experience in a similar role

·Proficiency in Excel and other MS products

·Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles;

·Accuracy and attention to detail
