ROLE- Mechanical Service Engineer

LOCATION- Flexible on where Engineer’s are based

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £30,000- £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience) plus benefits inc. Van

My client works within a variety of mechanical equipment and they are looking to take on a Field Service Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the South of the UK.

The Mechanical Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• Be qualified in Engineering (BTEC / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC) or similar
• Previous experience of working in a Field Engineer / Field Service Engineer position
• Previous experience working with mechanical equipment such as rotating machinery, pumps, separators, belt and filter presses – but training will be given
• Have excellent communications skills to work with customers
• Be flexible to be field based
• Be flexible to work overtime where demand requires for certain jobs
• Be able to work well individually as well as part of team
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential

The Mechanical Field Service Engineer role will involve:

• Dealing directly with customers
• Working on a field service basis
• Installing, commissioning and servicing equipment
• Carrying out repairs and service to sludge dewatering equipment
