Servoca Resourcing Solutions are in search of an ITAP (Intelligence, Tasking, Admin & Performance) Manager to work for a Police Force in Lewes on a temporary contract basis.
Role Overview
As the ITAP Manager, you will be responsible for collation, analysis and dissemination of intelligence, including intelligence led tasking, within Operations Command (OC). You will be responsible for intelligently tasking resources across Ops Command, Surrey & Sussex Police and partner agencies. You will monitor and interpret performance across Operations Command and manage the OC administrative function. You will also be responsible for supporting relevant disciplines: Strategic Support, Public Order Training, and Firearms Coordination.
Key Responsibilities
To identify fluctuations in demand and performance relating to core Operations Command responsibilities, including casualty reduction and crime and, with partners and business leads, to develop long-term strategies and shorter term tactical interventions to improve performance.
Manage the effective tasking and performance of Operations Command units daily, having overall responsibility for OC tasking and co-ordination function including DMM, TTCG, and any future Strategic TCG
Oversee development of intelligence products in order to identify and manage the Operations Command's threats. Robust prioritisation management to oversee timely delivery of strategic, tactical and performance products.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and represent Operations Command at management level in relation to intelligence, tasking and performance.Essential Criteria
Experience of intelligence, tasking, performance and/or equivalent vocational qualifications along with management experience.
Knowledge of National Intelligence Model with experience of intelligence environment in terms of analysis and dissemination of intelligence, including intelligence led tasking, across Operations Command and partner agencies.
Ability to set up and oversee maintenance of Operations Command Strategic Threat and Risk Assessments (STRAs) across operational disciplines.
Experience of managing and developing a team and line supervision experience
