Vacancy description
The main tasks will include:
- To assist in the day to day running of the store alongside existing team members.
- Assisting customers with purchases.
- Booking in of repairs on a variety of devices, as such, a basic level of technical knowledge would be required although training will be provided.
- Diagnosing common faults and provide recommendations based on the businesses repair options.
- Assisting customers over the phone, both with sales and repairs.
Working week
09:00 – 18:00 Monday – Saturday and 10:00-16:00 Sundays and Bank Holidays. Applicants will work 5 days a week and within a retail environment should be flexible with working weekends if/when required.
Total hours per week: 40.00 Weekly wage £170.00
Expected duration: 13 months
Possible start date: 01 Oct 2019

There are no essential qualifications for the role however the successful applicant will have to complete a Maths, English and ICT assessment on the computer to check that you are at a high enough level to complete the apprenticeship.
Future prospects
Full time employment is offered at the end of the apprenticeship.

- £4 per hour, £170 per week is the starting wage.
- The Laptop Station is located next to the train station.
