Do you have experience working in a 24 hour response environment?


Do you have a background in customer service with the ability to multi task and prioritise in a busy and demanding environment?


If so we have an interesting opportunity dealing with customers out of hours requirements for a busy and successful organisation based in Hassocks.


Salary offered is £20,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience with an additional £2,500 shift allowance. Working hours are 4 days on/4days off 10am - 10pm.

Duties will include:

  • Handling all customer out of hours requirements.
  • Respond to customer AOG and priority requirements in appropriate time frames.
  • Deliver high quality customer service at all times.
  • Manage customer accounts and contracts, including specific requirements.
  • Trade inventory by means of exchange, loan and sale.
  • Purchase items for customer requirements and brokered transactions.
  • Negotiate with customer and suppliers when needed.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills or experience:

  • Preferred previous experience working with customer in a 24 hour service environment.
  • Professional and courteous phone manager.
  • Ability to work with a number of existing and new IT systems.
  • Be flexible and adaptable with working hours, process and procedures.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to plan coordinate and delegate work.
