Job Title: Senior Marketing Manager

Salary: £35k-£40k plus bonus

Location: Brighton

Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign strategy - establish top line marketing campaign strategies, generated through evidence-led marketing analysis, and where available, product/campaign/industry intelligence. Produce a strategic marketing plan and/or presentation defining the marketing strategies and top line budget requirements
  • Campaign planning - establish the value propositions, target audiences, campaign objectives and channel-by-channel conversion targets. Produce a targeted marketing communications plan, ensuring optimal channel selection and lead time for each element of the campaign
  • Database & audience development - overall responsibility for developing the visitor database with the internal and external database teams, identifying opportunities for
  • Campaign management - responsible for delivering the marketing campaign encompassing online (email, web, ppc, seo, content, social) and offline (direct mail, print, display advertising, radio, billboard) channels, as well as our VIP and B2B matchmaking programmes
  • Strategic partnerships - management of the gold and silver strategic / media partnership programme, managing acquisition and renewals, evaluating performance and making recommendations for potential partnerships
  • Cost and budget management - cost and budget management of Smarter Shows events and justifying marketing spend with ROI analysis
  • Team management - leading, managing and developing a small team of assistants / executives to ensure successful delivery of campaign strategy
  • Messaging and copywriting - it is essential that the candidate possesses strong copywriting skills as they will be responsible for the overall messaging of the events
  • PR & media outreach - management and delivery of PR campaign, engaging media and managing media Db, drafting press releases / media advisories etc.
  • Exhibitor marketing - ensuring we are maximising exhibitors as a marketing channel, implementing tactics to increase engagement and measuring effectiveness
  • Reporting and analysis - providing monthly campaign reports and providing recommendations to the marketing team and senior management
  • Project management - manage and oversee marketing projects, cost management
  • On-site responsibilities - managing the onsite marketing function, writing/editing daily newsletter, managing press area, and supporting onsite video content team
  • Space Tech Expo - supply chain and engineering event for manufacturing, design, test and engineering services for spacecraft, subsystems and space-qualified components.
  • Ceramics Expo - tradeshow for raw materials, equipment, machinery and technology used within the ceramic manufacturing supply chain
  • Foam Expo - foam manufacturing, adhesives & sealants, converting & fabricating, equipment & machinery, raw materials, recycling and testing
  • Adhesives & Bonding Expo - adhesive & bonding manufacturing supply chain, including raw materials, chemicals, manufacturing and process equipment

Requirements

  • 3-5 years marketing experience (b2b exhibitions/conferences experience essential)
  • 1 years' experience of managing one exec
  • Technical and systems experience using email marketing platforms, registration systems, CMS, Salesforce
  • Campaign management experience
  • Experience creating business processes
  • Proven copywriting skills
  • Experience working with suppliers, agencies and sales teams
  • Educated to degree level in business or marketing related subject
