£20,940 - £21,800 p.a depending on depth and variety of experience in a similar role
St Barnabas House provides specialist palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including in-patient care, day hospice and community care.
Due to the development of our Therapy service we have an exciting opportunity for a Therapy/Rehabilitation technician to join our multidisciplinary team.
You will be working with the support of physiotherapists and an occupational therapist on our 20 bed inpatient unit providing high quality assessment and treatment to patients to improve their mobility with a focus on independence.
You will also be working together with our therapists in the rehabilitation of outpatients. You will be involved in running exercise classes as well as individual patient assessment and treatment.
You will need to be creative, enthusiastic, motivated and highly organised and will benefit from the mutual support of other team members and volunteers.
We will support you in your continuing professional development and have an excellent education department running regular relevant courses.
If you are an enthusiastic person with at least 2 years’ experience as a physiotherapy or occupational therapy assistant then, this could be the role for you.
