Sponsorship Business Development Managers - £75,000 first year OTE, rising to £180,000 by year three if sales targets are hit. From then earnings are limitless, focus and determination and a fantastic work ethic can see earnings way above the norm.

Seeking commission-focused sales professionals to support our client’s mission to bring unrivaled stimulus to continued growth and investment in the Asia pacific region.The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly focused, and capable of working at a strategic level while simultaneously executing on a tactical level.

Due to significant wins and further growth planned globally, our client requires an ambitious, money motivated business development managers to spearhead the launch of a brand new portfolio.

The position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will require the successful candidate to relocate. relocation package is offered that includes all flights, accommodation and other benefits.

You will be responsible for:

  • Exceeding agreed revenue targets for each campaign by selling bespoke sponsorship packages
  • Identify and close new business using a guided presentation.
  • Maximise revenue from new and current/previous sponsors.
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with senior level decision makers (with a focus on maximising future revenue).
  • Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads/business.
  • Build successful and long- lasting relationships with clients across the event portfolio.
  • Establish, and maintain a level of market/client knowledge that can be utilised to assist the sales process.
  • Accurate reporting, forecasting and campaign management.
  • On occasions work outside of contracted hours.
  • Work closely with activation manager to ensure all aspects of sponsorship are fulfilled.

You will need to have and to display:

  • A consistent background of successful outbound B2B telesales. Sponsorship experience isn't essential because full training is provided. Sales experience is a must, desirable fields such as Direct Marketing, Energy, Advertising or PPI will be considered.
  • Determination, tenacity, resilience and assertiveness.
  • High standards of communication.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to hit deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Pride and personal responsibility in maintaining reputation of the product and the team
  • Prepared to work beyond contracted hours from time to time to exceed earning potential.
  • Good problem solving skills - demonstrates mental agility and is solutions focused.
