Duties to include:
Receptionist – on the phone and face to face develop strong customer service skills Administration – support for Reception Manager, Practice Business Manager, Partners and other staff Using the clinical system for a variety of tasks, inputting data.
Requirements and prospects
- Proficient keyboard and organisational skills
- Be able to effectively communicate with a wide range of people with very different needs both in person and over the phone
- Ability to work well both on their own and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Facilitators of their own learning
- Ability to use the Microsoft Office Package including Word, Excel, Office and Access Database
- Knowledge of medical patient systems, preferable EMIS Web
- Working in an area handling sensitive and confidential data
- Handling conflict
- Evidence of working in a customer service background
We are looking for someone who can work as part of team but also use their initiative to help support the practice in offering a high standard of customer service to our patients to make their interaction with us as easy as possible No one day is the same and you never know what may happen in a day so someone who doesn’t like to be bored and likes a challenge would love working here A calm, organised personality
Maths Grade C GCSE or above English Grade C GCSE or above

Training to be provided
East Sussex College will deliver level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship Framework, which includes English, maths and ICT Functional Skills where the apprentice does not already hold these qualifications or higher.
Apprentices will receive 1-2-1 support from an allocated assessor to support them to achieve the apprenticeship in the workplace.
