Automation Engineer / RPA Process Analyst

A new role for an Automation Engineer / RPA Process Analyst has arisen, to join a multinational financial services company in Hove (East Sussex). The company is focussed on providing exceptional customer experience and have recently launched an innovative technology transformation introducing impressive automated business processes and are a footprint for using and driving automation technology.

As part of this IT transformation, we are looking for an Automation Engineer / RPA Process Analyst to join the growing digital and IT team. You will be responsible for owning and controlling the processes around the live environment (currently 35 automations strong and expected to ramp up quickly), ensuring SLA's are adhered to, any issues are monitored, escalated and resolved, demands are met, the Bots are managed, and that the BAU automations run as they should within a stable production environment.

Alongside this, the Automation Engineer / RPA Process Analyst will also get a chance to gain hands-on exposure to the development of these automations - specifically the production enhancement backlog, using Blue Prism (the primary tech currently used), therefore this opportunity offers not only great exposure to a cutting-edge, innovative technical environment but also offers great learning and development potential.

Skills and experience needed for the Automation Engineer / RPA Process Analyst:

• Experience of managing automation business processes within a production environment
• Preferably experience with Blue Prism
• Experience in change management
• Keenness to learn automation tech and be hands-on with development in the future
• Any knowledge of SQL, Java, Python, C or C++ would be advantageous
• Experience within an Agile / DevOps environment
• Any hands-on automation development experience would be ideal

Salary: £30k-40k (depending on experience) + bonus + benefits
