Electrical Systems Design Engineer Position Overview
You will take responsibility for the design and completion of bespoke systems to specific customer requirements.
Liaising with clients to put together quotes and proposals for bespoke products
Designing control systems using various CAD Packages
Overseeing a project from start to finish including specification, costing, design commissioning and fault finding on installed systems.
Design electric and electronic controls
Producing 3D Modelling drawings and Bill of Materials for the use of the Production and Procurement teams
Close liaison with customers on project requirements and drawing specifications
Contributing to the Owners & Maintenance manuals on electrical related subjects
Supporting Projects and assisting the Production Manager to ensure project delivery is on time and in line with the quality standards
Travelling to customer sites occasionally to carry out site surveys or commissioning of machineryElectrical Design Engineer Position Requirements
Proficient with AutoCAD 2D software is essential. 3D Modelling software proficiency is advantageous
Proven background within Electrical Design Engineering
Proficient with Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel etc.
Electrical Engineering qualifications are desirable
Panel wiring experience is desirableElectrical Design Engineer Position Remuneration
Salary £28,000 - £35,000
39-hour working week. Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:30. Friday 08:30 - 13:30
