Job Title: Support Consultant (Provisioning)

Salary: £22k

Location: Lancing

Full time, Monday-Friday 9am-17:30pm

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Support Consultant (Provisioning), with excellent communication skills and versed in Telecommunications/IT industry. A keen eye for detail, ability to multi-task, work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced growing Telecoms/IT Company as part of the Service Delivery Team. The role provides exceptional customer service in number porting, WLR, SIP and data provisioning.


Reporting to Service Delivery Managers to provide Provisioning Support, including but not limited to:

  • Understand and confidently provide CPS, WLR, Data, Number Porting, Number Management and SIP Services
  • Ensure correct procedures are being followed for escalations and meeting SLAs
  • Monitor and process all orders, including escalations
  • Monitor and process transfers, porting geographical and non-geographical numbers Reseller to Reseller
  • Ensure allocated tickets are resolved within the SLA
  • High level of customer service with exceptional telephone manner
  • Ability to maintain and develop customer accounts
  • Ability to handle client complaints in a professional calm manner
  • Ability to quickly asses the needs of the client and resolve issues efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure 'Tasks' and 'To-dos' are monitored and resolved in a timely manner
  • Proactively assess the needs of the client, colleagues and business
  • Accurately record and update data in ticketing system
  • Answer inbound calls in the published time frame
  • Ensure the department and company policies are being followed
  • Processing cancellations
  • Assist with Special Projects


  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work cross functionally and interact confidently with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external)
  • Natural flair for delivering high levels of Customer Service
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and work to tight deadlines
  • Team player - understand the importance of collaborative working
  • Excellent IT skills and confident using Business Management systems (Autotask), proficient in MS Office packages
  • Excellent attention to detail achieving high levels of accuracy
