Based at the West Durrington Campus, Worthing

 

 

 

We are seeking to appoint an administrator to work with the busy Finance Team.  You will be assisting in providing an efficient customer service, both at the finance counter and via other means, to learners and staff, regarding all financial transactional processing, issues and procedures.

 

Your responsibilities will include tasks such as; providing front line customer service in person, by telephone and e-mail/letter regarding any queries relating to outstanding requisitions/purchase orders or invoices, preparing cash and cheque receipts for submission to the college bank, assisting with all aspects of the college offsite enrolments and payment and assisting with the entering of financial information onto the Sales and Purchase Ledger system.

 

You should have previous experience of working within a similar finance based office role and experience in the use of financial accounting databases would also be useful.  You should hold English and Maths GCSE and have good IT skills.  You will also require excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment. You should be detail oriented and accurate and also have the ability to deal sensitively with confidential information.
