Safeguarding Manager

The company: I am working on behalf of a client who are a South East based group of 15 nursing/residential homes. My client is an expanding organisation who are looking to expand their team with a Safeguarding Manager based at their office in Crawley.

The Role: You will be contracted to 37.5 hours per week and based in the office. However due to the nature of the job you will need a drivers licence to be able to visit each home in the South East.

* Successful applicants will lead on the development of safeguarding practice in the team and with partner agencies.

* You will be able to provide safeguarding advice, guidance and chair safeguarding meetings.

* You will contribute to the development and implementation of the Safeguarding Strategy ensuring all practice is fully compliant.

About You:

* Expert in safeguarding adults/elderly in residential healthcare

* Experience leading a team to high standards of compliance within safeguarding

* Experience strategising and working with senior management

* Qualification at degree level or a relevant Level 5 in Social Care
