Purchasing Coordinator

The purpose of this Purchasing Coordinator role is to ensure that all bought-out goods and services are delivered to enable the achievement of the customer required delivery target.

Hours of work are:
Mon - Thurs 08.30am - 17.00pm
Fri - 08.30am - 16.15pm

The location of the role is based in Horsham and is accessible by public transport

Responsibilities
* Ensure all purchase orders are scheduled to meet customer expectations and that the weekly/monthly delivery schedules are available for all appropriate personnel
* Co-ordinate the flow of information to ensure the performance of the on-time supplier & subcontractor delivery targets are maintained against the customer required delivery
* Liaise with suppliers & subcontractors on a daily basis to ensure achievement of the customer required delivery date
* Liaise and co-ordinate with the Finance Function to ensure payment of invoices in maintenance of on-time delivery for the customer requirement.
* Ensure internal and external queries are responded to within 24 hours
* Liaise and resolve, within 30 days, with the Customer Fulfilment Co-Ordinator all purchase orders issued to 'Problems' within the order books overdue against the customer required delivery date.
